Latido Films received on friday the prize for Distributor of the Year, voted by all professionals attending the Cartoon Movie, for its outstanding contribution to the development of European Animation over the last year.
During this year’s edition, Latido launched two animated features: Buñuel In The Labyrinth Of The Turtles directed by Salvador Simó, a film based on the true story of the shooting of Las Hurdes: Land Without Bread by Luis Buñuel; and Memoirs of a Man in Pajamas directed by Carlos Fernández, an adaptation of the bestselling books and weekly graphic stories published for one year in EL PAÍS followed by more than 1.000.000 people.
In the last years Latido have managed international sales for animated films like Psiconautas: The Forgotten Children a Goya Award winner for Best Animated Film.
