CARMEN Y LOLA is part of the 49 films of this year’s EFA Feature Film Selection, which is the recommendation list for a nomination for the European Films Awards 2018.
The nominations will be announced on November 10th at the Seville European Film Festival. Let’s wish them good luck until then!
The film is Arantxa Echevarría’s first film, which tells the story of two young gypsy girls who fight for their love against the injustice and discrimination of their families, within a strong community where homosexuality is a taboo and being a woman brings an inherent difficult life.
