Maroa is an eleven-year-old survivor in a large Latin American city. She lives in poverty in the slums around the capital.
Maroa’s life changes for good on the day Joaquín, a clarinet player practicing in a theater parking lot, reveals the world of Mozart’s music to her. From that moment on, her life revolves around the music classes taught by the musician from Spain. He is immediately fascinated by the impetuous Maroa, who has a perfect ear but lacks even the most rudimentary discipline. Joaquin will soon discover that, through Maroa, his world will also change for good.
