Mentiras y gordas (Big Fat Lies) is about a group of young people who are discovering life and looking for the solution to their problems in their relationships. These night owls live out the wild delirium of nightlife, meeting and mingling on beaches, in clubs, bars, outdoor cafés and chill outs, surrounded by music. But at dawn, with the sunrise comes a letdown, as reality and feelings appear. Unkept promises, broken dreams, loneliness. Three days during the hot early summer in Alicante with their three frenzied nights, where Paz, Carola, Carlos, Sonia, Nico, Toni, Marina and Leo will discover that their lives cannot continue like this.
